Hello Everybody,

As you may know the Government and Bowls England has said that we can now go to Bowls Greens for exercise but on a limited basis.

We are looking to opening the Club on Monday 15th June, just for roll ups, consisting of two people per rink on Mondays to Fridays, every afternoon from 2.00pm and week ends from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.   We need to know how many of you are likely to be interested in the opportunity to get out and start getting back into the swing of it.

As we said, it is vitally important we know how many of you are likely to want to do this as we have put into operation a booking system where you will have to book a time slot of 1hour and 45 minutes with a gap of 15 minutes before the next booking.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO JUST TURN UP TO PLAY as we need to make sure we have social distancing and sanitising of mats, jacks etc.

Please text Andy Kemp TO MAKE YOUR BOOKING.

There will only be 3 rinks available at any one time, rinks 1, 3 and 5 and then alternate to rinks 2,4 and 6.

Mats and Jacks will be kept in the male visitors changing room and the key will be kept in the key safe fixed to the wall by the door.

Bowls England say that to reduce the risk of infection the use of Scoreboards, Bowls Pushers, Ditch Markers, 2 m distance sticks and chalk should not be used.

The use of the Club House to be avoided AT ALL TIMES but in an emergency usual hygiene procedures should be adopted by everyone.

The ladies toilets will be UNISEX for the time being and the men's toilet block will be sealed off.

There may be other caveats that have to be put in place but if everybody is sensible then we should be able to go someway to getting back to normality.

IF THE GUIDE LINES ARE NOT ADHERED TO THE CLUB HOUSE WILL BE SHUT DOWN.

FROM THE CHAIRMAN AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS
