MEMORIAL HOSPITAL FINALS DAY

W&P once again hosted the Memorial Hospital Finals on Sunday 19th September. The event was well supported by bowlers from around the area of S.E. London and North Kent. Our own John Lee played in the Mens singles final against John Wood (Tudor B.C.) and was narrowly beaten 21-17.

 CHRIS EVANS SPORTING CHALLENGE

 BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Sporting Challenge this week was bowls. 
Blackheath & Greenwich provided the venue, with coaching from Andy Thomson and 21-year-old Sian Gordon, who'll be representing England in the upcoming 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.

NWKL CHALLENGE

The Annual Ladies v Gents NWKL Challenge was held on Thursday 2nd September.
This year's theme was Black & White. The evening was a great success with some interesting costumes being worn on the green
